Over the years, my one consistent travelling companion has been a straw hat. Actually even as I wrote that, I knew I was lying. The hubby, camera, denim shorts, sun cream; never go anywhere without those either. Over the years, I have come to realise that my packing is incomplete without my straw hat. Why am I bringing this up now that summer holidays are but a distant dream and all thoughts have turned to cashmere and log fires? .
